Dr. Umar Qasim
Professor
Dr. Umar is an Associate Professor at the University of Engineering and Technology (UET) with over 20 years of experience in the Information Technology field. He has taught at various institutions in North America and Pakistan. His expertise spans wireless sensor networks, databases, digital preservation, data science, and information management. He previously led the Digital Preservation program at the University of Alberta and worked at Dalhousie University, McMaster University, and several software companies in the USA.
Hafiz Muhammad Danish
Lecturer
Hafiz Muhammad Danish, a computer scientist, joined UET Lahore (New Campus) as a Lecturer in December 2022. He is a PhD Scholar at PUCIT, with both his graduation and master's from the same institute. He previously worked at Systems Limited as a Software Engineer and has over 7 years of teaching experience. His interests include Robotics, AI, ML, DL, Data Science, Image Processing, and Visual Programming Languages. He actively participated in DIY projects and has attended several key workshops and conferences.
Zohaib Saeed
President
Zohaib Saeed is a passionate and visionary computer science student at UET Lahore (New Campus), currently serving as the President of ACM UET New Campus Corebody. He is a full-stack MERN developer and tech leader with a strong background in organizing impactful tech initiatives.
Umair Sajid
Vice President (Technical)
Umair Sajid is a skilled and tech-driven Computer Science student at UET Lahore (New Campus), currently serving as Vice President Technical at ACM UET NC. He has strong expertise in Data Science, Python, and backend frameworks like Django and Flask. Umair is actively working on AI technologies, including LLMs, and has built AI solutions involving gesture detection and automation. Alongside his academics, he works as a part-time freelancer and lab attendant, continuously expanding his impact through both technical contributions and leadership roles.
Amen Munir
Vice President (Non-Tech)
Amen Munir is a driven and forward-thinking Computer Science student at UET Lahore (New Campus), currently serving as Vice Lead Non-Tech at ACM UET NC. With a strong command of AI technologies and web development, she specializes in working with LLMs, computer vision models, and chatbot systems. Passionate about bridging tech with real-world applications, Amen actively contributes to both technical and community initiatives in AI, development, and leadership.
Tariq Mushtaq
General Secretary
A Multifaceted person having deep roots in Music, Creativity, Design, Filmmaking, Arts, Entrepreneurship, Visuals Director, Acting, and Technically a Software Engineer with expertise in Cloud Computing/DevOps & MLOps, and Community Builder of AWS officially in Pakistan. Also Regional Marketing Lead in the Microsoft Learn Student Ambassadors (MLSA) Program for the Lahore region.
Bilal Nadeem
Treasurer
Bilal Nadeem is a dedicated and detail-oriented computer science student at UET Lahore (New Campus), currently serving as the Treasurer of ACM UET New Campus Core Body. He brings strong organizational, leadership, and financial management skills to the team, with a background in development, communication, and student leadership roles.
